Funny Flight Attendant And Crew Jokes

The Overhead Bin Dilemma

A flight attendant noticed a passenger struggling frantically to shove an enormous, overstuffed duffel bag into an overhead bin that was clearly half its size. After watching him push, kick, and slam the bin door three times without success, she walked up, placed a hand on his shoulder, and gently explained that the bag would have to be gate-checked to the cargo hold. The man wiped sweat from his forehead and protested, "I’ve been packing this bag for three days, and I guarantee you it fits if I just get the right angle!" The flight attendant smiled politely, took the bag from his hands, and said, "Sir, geometry doesn't change at 30,000 feet, and unless that bag contains a portal to another dimension, it’s going in the belly of the plane."

The Unresponsive Call Button

On a six-hour transcontinental flight, a demanding passenger sat pressing the overhead call button every ten minutes to request extra ice, extra pillows, and updates on the exact ground speed. By the fourth hour, the lead flight attendant walked down the aisle, knelt beside his aisle seat, and asked if everything was alright. The passenger huffed and said, "I've pushed this button four times in the last twenty minutes, and it seems like your service is getting slower by the mile." The flight attendant leaned in close, pointed to the ceiling console, and said in a soothing voice, "Ah, I see the confusion, sir. That button alerts the crew, but the one right next to it with the little fan symbol actually speeds up the plane—if you press that one, we'll all get there much faster."

The Red-Eye Morning Coffee

A tired flight attendant was handing out morning coffee on a red-eye flight just as the sun began to rise over the clouds. She reached row 22, where an exhausted businessman was staring blankly at his laptop screen, completely drained from the overnight trip. She asked him if he would like cream or sugar with his coffee, but the man just stared at the cup, blinked slowly, and said, "Is this coffee real, or am I dreaming right now?" The flight attendant handed him the hot mug, tapped the rim with her napkin, and said, "Sir, if you were dreaming, you’d be in first class, the seat would lay completely flat, and this coffee would actually taste good."
